i was trying to view my own blog but tis came out. why??? so weird. =P
oh well... whateva!
theo has passed away...on thur morning!!! =P that's like less than 24 hrs fr the time i bought him. so sad! i feel so guilty. but even in death he served his purpose. coz he died, i could let the kidz touch his scales n show them his gills. ^^; thankz for everything theo. alvin n simon r still swimming ard in their plastic abode. i think i should get a water plant coz i read on the net that red tetras like dark places. if there's a water plant, they can 'hide' in the plant n 'feel' the darkness. hehehe... sori if i'm not making much sense. must b the cold med taking its effect... or maybe it's juz me n my sleepiness. ;P
i'm gona go collect my IC tmr. yeah! new IC. like finally! it's already more than 3 mths since my bday. at least i didnt wait till 6 mths. hehe...

i bought three red eye tetra after work today. been contemplating whether or not to get them fishes. finally decided to get them from the pet safari. i hope they can live really long. so far i dun have much affinity wif fishes.
the first pet fish i had was a fighting fish. a bday prezi fr one of my budz. fighting fish are supposed to be hardy (as in they dun die easily) but mine only lasted for about a month or two. =P then i bought some guppies. for work purposes. to show the kidz live fishes. one of them died a few hours after being bought! must have been too disturbed by the 1hr trip fr the shop to the centre. heart attack? ^^; whateva it is, the other one survived for about a month or two as well.
so i sincerely hope these three tetras will live much longer. they're following me ard tomorrow. i hope it's not too much of a disturbance for them. i'm naming them alvin, simon and theo (though i have no idea if they're male or female. they look male to me). hehe...
p.s. i'm not sneezing like yesterday but my nose is sometimes blocked still.

man~ i think i'm coming down with a cold. must rmbr to buy some meds on d way home or later during lunch. sooo no mood to work.
cold cold go awaydon't come back another daylittle yaney wants to playheheeh... n when i have a cold... i bring a really BIG hanky around. hmmm... actually it's not even a hanky. it's a bandana but since i dun use bandanas (i wonder why i have so many in my cupboard) on my head, i use it on days like these. to blow my nose with. =P i juz hope i dun pass these germs to the kids n make them sick.

black is one of my fave colours.
black is classic.
black is beautiful.
black is boring... yet it's a mystery.
black is so many things and more.
u shd watch this hindustani movie entitled BLACK. amitabh bachan stars in it. it's a moving story abt a girl who's blind AND deaf (kinda like helen keller) who was taught by a dedicated teacher. he was like a magician to the family and of all the words he taught her, there was one that he didn't: impossible. for someone who doesnt know the meaning of impossible, she overcame all odds and managed to get herself a degree...eventhough it took her thrice as long. in her graduation speech, she mentioned that Black is not a colour of darkness that binds, it is the colour of knowledge, the colour of the graduation robe that the graduates were wearing... (something along those lines) so touching. touching becoz the teacher that taught her, contracted alzheimer's disease n couldn't see her go on stage as he had once promised her. but somehow, eventhough his alzheimer was in the critical stage, she nvr gave up hoping and striving till she managed to make him remember. juz becoz she doesn't know the word impossible n becoz he taught her the true meaning of black.
in life, there's always some black moments. we juz have to rmbr to strive on, persevere, have faith and keep walking towards the light. after all... the brilliance of the fireworks will be underplayed if the dark night didn't provide it with a black backdrop.

tmr's friday! yeah! one more work day n then it's the weekend! although i dun have any plans this weekend (juz like any other weekend), i'm still looking fwd to it. i could go to the gamelan performance at nus. tapi nak gi dgn sape ehk? wonder if cuzie's gg. mayb i'll sms him tmr to ask.
i wanted to blog abt something but i seem to have forgotten. n my eyes are juz so sleepy all of a sudden. =P guess i shd turn in.
wat a redundant post. i SHouLD juz NOT PUBLISH tis so as not to waste ppl's reading time. but i shan't. hehe... (is the word usage correct?^^;) ritez i shall go to sleep. eyes cant take it anymore.

it was a truly njoyable wkend. too bad... it's coming to an end. =P
attended a course at NUS on saturday. 10am to 4pm. it was hauntingly good.
oh ya! if u've gone to my multiply, then u wld have known who i went with. CUZIE WUZIE!!! *glompz* finally got to meet him. =)
tuition on sunday AM. tutee was feeling chatty n i was feeling irate(?) it's d holz n i guess she's pretty much switched off. so switched off that she can't seem to do even a simple qn. darah up!
went to a wedding reception on sunday PM with mom. it rained heavily. good to see the sedaras. even got to meet n chat a bit with raihana. she's got 2 girls n pregnant wif a 3rd (not sure if the baby's gona be a gal / boy... didn't get to ask coz she was looking for a pl to sit n it was too crowded to have a decent conversation).
had dinner wif mamang n fam @istanbul. tiger nestum sedap! hahaha... i mean the oat prawn or wateva they call it. cik medok lah cakap tiger nestum. she wanted to say tiger prawns. then they recalled another occasion where she wanted baby squid but instead ordered baby doll. hehe... so funny!
can i not go to work tmr? it's the school hols! i wana have a break! boohoo~ why do the weekends always go by so fast?

there was a beautiful big fullmoon last nite. did u see it? it was really really beautiful! so beautiful that i walked all the way passed the interchange n wanted to walk to the mrt. hahaha...
too bad i didnt have my camera with me. tried taking a pix using my z610i but it wasn't a good shot. sad sad... =P but nvm. i'm still glad i got to witness it with my own eyes. did i mention tat the moon looked really near n big? yes it did! nearest i've ever noticed. usually, even when i'm at home (which is on the 7th floor), the moon still looked so far away.
and there were stars in the sky too. really cool! oh shux~ i think my vocab juz shrank. hahaha... i've been repeating the same words a few times too many. =P
in tat case, i think i'll juz stop here. it's already mid week. so so so fast! can't wait for tis sat. wheee~

i'm actually very (to the power of infinity) tired. so let's make tis a short one.
weekend was a blast! weekend started on friday evening. dinner with yan @pastamania TM. there were soooo many ppl! sheesh~ luckily yan came pretty early n got a seat. here are some pix:

sun morng went to bedok res wif mom n her frenz. so FUN! after that went home rest abit before gg out to PS to meet ana, fahi, asri n adha. no cuzie wuzie. haiz~ it feels like he's avoiding meeting up with us. had ice cream at swensen's. is it juz me or is swensen's ice cream not as nice anymore? there was tis eye-candy tat made a better dessert. hahahha... juz kidding. i soooo did not eat anyone up for dessert. i juz had celebrity brownie. here r some pix:
