bought a book when i've already got a couple tat i've yet to finish reading.
really... tis habit of mine is bad. bad on my pocket. hahaha...
the night of the mi'raj by zoe ferraris
so far i'm intrigued. at the same time, there are qns as to whether or not the practices(?) written in it are really islamic. i dun even know if the author is a muslim. wait.. lemme google the name abit.
the search led to the following discovery:
- the book also goes by the name Finding Nouf. "Finding Nouf is a San Francisco Chronicle Bestseller and winner of theLos Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. It was also chosen as one of the Best New Voices of the Year by Waterstone's Booksellers, one of the Ten Best Novels of the Spring by The Independent. - the author was once married to a Bedouin n lived in a conservative Muslim community in Jeddah.
i've got spellbound, the graveyard book n muhammad as if you can see him, to read as well. hee... i'd better not go into another bookshop for now. =P
